The concept of this series of diptychs is based on the Four Seasons and the spirit of Mother Earth. Each of the girls represents a “Goddess” or “Queen” of a season, and Mother Earth, the controller of all elements. The feelings and emotions I get from each season is expressed through the colours and flow of the fabrics.

After much hard work, lots of stress and tons of caffeine, but of course lots of joy and excitement too, it’s a wrap! Two years at Sheridan College are done and my life as a student progresses to a life as a working adult. Oh joy! I’m excited to see what life has in store for me next.
Also, I will be posting a few outtakes from this shoot as well as behind the scenes photos. Stay tuned!
What a better way to end a great two years at college, than with a gallery show! Here’s my dear friend Adhi and I posing in front of his prints at Arta Gallery, during last night’s Two Gallery event, which showcased the prints of my 2012 graduating class and I (Applied Photography program of Sheridan College). The second photo is me proudly standing in front of my two prints (to my left). We all worked very hard on our portfolios and awaited this moment. The beautiful moment when you can finally sit back and relax and view your lovely prints hung up on the wall of a gallery. The event was a success, and I’m glad to have chatted with so many great people from the industry. All in all I think everyone did an awesome job, and I’m looking forward to having many more galleries like these :) Cheers!
